Team Leaders
Our management team is a dream team of sorts for the custom timber home industry. We are proud of the experience that each member brings to the organization.
Robert M. Barrow, Principal, Lead Project Manager
Rob graduated from Ryerson University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Technology Degree from the Department of
Architectural Science majoring in Project Management and has since
served in a variety of key Construction Management positions, including
Site Superintendent, Project Manager, Expert Witness, and Owner's
Representative. Considerable field experience has heightened his
awareness and understanding of the requirements necessary to effectively
deliver well-managed projects within budget & time constraints, without
compromising safety and quality.
During the first six years of his professional career, Rob held integral
managerial roles on several sizable construction job sites in and around
Los Angeles, California. Included in this portfolio were four
substantial condominium retrofit projects in locales such as Century
City / Beverly Hills, Mission Hills and Pasadena, as well as an
intensive earthquake repair effort at the Sunkist Corporation's
International Headquarters in Sherman Oaks. Further, while
working for Intelisyn, he was actively involved in managing several hospital and medical office
building remodels for Kaiser Permanente, a leading health care provider
in the southwest United States. In his last year in California, Rob was
an on-site Construction Project Manager for Swinerton Management Consulting
at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The scope of
work at USC was comprised of a $35M, multi-year, federally (FEMA) funded
earthquake repair and mitigation program, in which over two dozen
existing campus buildings - both contemporary and historic - were
repaired, rehabilitated and/or seismically retrofitted to better resist
potential failure and damage by future earthquakes.
Rob
returned to live in his hometown of Lindsay, Ontario in July of
2000 to be closer to family. At that time, Normerica Post &
Beam, a leading wood timber frame design, manufacture & build company located
near Aurora, Ontario, enlisted Rob's services and expertise. For what
was to become the next five years, Rob was in charge of a variety of
their most important marquis projects in some of North America's most
exclusive vacation destinations, including Kirkwood / Lake Tahoe,
California; Aspen / Breckenridge / Silverthorne, Colorado; and the
Kawarthas / Muskokas / Haliburton, Ontario. During his tenure at
Normerica, Rob personally managed more than $13M worth of Normerica
construction work, including a number of custom luxury homes, equestrian
ranch facilities, ski chalets, and cottages from design through move-in.
To
further advance his career in Project Management while maintaining his
passion for timber frame construction, Rob formed his own company
Integrity Construction Services Inc. which has emerged as a leader in Construction Management
Services in its field. Since conception, Integrity has expanded its
team to include Design and Build services and now offers the full range
of services in providing turn-key building solutions.
Phillip Jenkinson, Principal, Lead Designer
Phill graduated from
Fanshawe College in 1993 with a Certificate in Architectural Technology and was the recipient of
the Architectural Achievement Award for his graduating class. Phill has since
served in a variety of key Design and Design Management positions. Considerable
site and office experience has heightened his awareness and understanding of the
requirements necessary to effectively deliver well-designed projects developed
around budget & time constraints, without compromising function and
constructability.
After graduation Phill returned to the area in which he grew up to be closer to
family. During the first few years of his professional career, Phill gained
valuable experience working in both the mechanical design/manufacturing and
construction material supply fields. During this time Phill was building a
portfolio in lake front home and cottage design, addition and renovation
drawings. This experience eventually led him to Confederation Log Homes
located near Bobcaygeon, Ontario where in less than a year Phill had proven his
value to advance him to the lead role of the Design Department. While at
Confederation Log Homes, Phill worked on many projects that can be found across
Canada, throughout the US and into Germany and Italy.
As Phill's talents and work ethic became know in the industry he was sought out by the
individuals that started Discovery Dream Homes,
a leading log and timber frame design & manufacturing company located near
Peterborough, Ontario. Phill was one of the four founding members of Discovery
Dream Homes team. He was involved in the inception of not only the design
portfolio but also the manufacturing facility. For what was to become the next
four years, as the Design Manager, Phill was in charge of all projects that went
through the design process within the company. He gained a
rapport with a number
of architects and design engineering firms and worked closely with them to
ensure the integrity of their designs was reflected within the timberframes
supplied by Discovery.
To further advance his career in
Architectural Design while maintaining his
passion for timber frame construction, Phill
became one of the principals of Integrity Construction
Services, Inc. which has emerged as a leader in Design, Build and Construction Management Services.
Integrity now offers the full range of services in providing turn-key building
solutions.

Robinson Contracting Ltd., and added to his hands on education by gaining experience in everything from commercial construction to finish carpentry

log and timber frame design & manufacturing company located near Peterborough, Ontario. He was instrumental in the business and technical development,
